Day 1 – Kampala → Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Early pickup from your Kampala hotel; brief stop at the Equator for refreshments and local crafts.
- Drive through scenic highlands to Bwindi, arriving midday.
- Afternoon: relax at your lodge or enjoy a short guided nature walk.
- Evening: dinner followed by a short briefing on gorilla trekking preparations.
Day 2 – Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
- 08:00: briefing at the ranger station; then trek into the forest with park guides.
- Track one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families; enjoy up to 60 minutes observing their social life.
- Optional: community walk in a nearby forest village (weather & time permitting).
- Overnight at lodge.
Day 3 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (via Ishasha)
- After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth NP. Enter via Ishasha sector—scans for tree-climbing lions lounging in fig and acacia trees.
- Continue to your lodge near Mweya or the northern shoreline of Lake Edward.
- Later, settle in for dinner and a sunset view over the lake.
Day 4 – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
- Early game drive at dawn along Kasenyi Plains: elephants, kobs, warthogs, buffalo, hyenas—and occasionally leopards.
- Midday: return to lodge for lunch and rest.
- Afternoon: embark on a 2‑hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, observing habitats teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and abundant waterbirds.
- Dinner and overnight at same lodge.
Day 5 – Return to Kampala
- Early morning: breakfast and check‑out.
- Scenic drive back to Kampala, stopping for lunch en route.
- Arrive late afternoon or early evening in Kampala, marking the end of your safari.

- Permits: Gorilla trekking permits are limited to 8 people per group and need to be booked well in advance; bird-watching and nature walk permits are separate and available through Uganda Wildlife Authority.
